PRENO "CONNECT" Conference at Chimes Conference Suite, Portsmouth Football Club, Frogmore Road, Fratton P04 8RA (9.30 am - 6.00 pm)
PRENO "CONNECT" Conference 2009 on Tuesday 13th October 2009. The objective of the conference is to "CONNECT" BME community organisations and public service providers to encourage partnership working. Cultural Awareness Training will also take place which will be to assist public service providers to "CONNECT" with BME groups. The conference will also try to raise the profile of the diverse range of local BME community organisations and the services they deliver, also promoting cohesion, improve race equality in Portsmouth. These objectives are supported by Big Lottery BASIS supporting PRENO's "Scaling Up BME Project". The conference is split between morning (Cultural Awareness Training) & afternoon "CONNECTING" with BME groups followed by our AGM at 4.45 pm. PRENO General Meeting
Please note that the PRENO General Meeting will be taking place on Monday 1st March 2010 at Buckland Community Centre, Malins Road, Buckland, Portsmouth P02 7BL. 5.00 pm Multicultural Cruisine (sandwiches for non spicy palate). 5.30 pm commencement of the meeting. 7.30 pm Close.
